1977 — A family house
José Ramón and María de los Ángeles found the Restaurante El Duque. Over the years the company Baldó y Díaz brings together the couple and their children María Asunción and Pedro.

2013 — The Gran Duque hall, renewed
The Gran Duque hall is completely renovated in 2013, designed and decorated by Jorge Currás. Today it has a large glass ceiling, windows onto the garden and the dance area in the same room.

2016 — Plato de Oro
By the finca’s own account, it receives the 2016 Plato de Oro national gastronomy award. Its kitchen is its own, with bakery and natural cider from its own press.

Air-conditioned and soundproofed, with a glass ceiling over the dance floor, windows onto the garden and a bar. Renovated in 2013.

From half past six in the evening until dawn
An afternoon and a night, told by the light. This is how a wedding day unfolds at Finca El Duque, calculated for a real date.

Before the hórreo
The ceremony can be held in the open air, in a space prepared in the gardens. In the house’s own photographs: white chairs, a red carpet and a pavilion beneath the hórreo.
20:15 · Drinks
Drinks on the patio
Guests step out onto the cobbled patio and the terrace, beneath awnings and trees. The house has its own cider press: in its photographs, the cider is poured from the cask.

The light drops over the gardens
While the drinks go on, the light turns gold and then blue. One bride writes on Google that the sunset on the terrace is “priceless”.

Dinner in the Gran Duque hall
An air-conditioned hall for up to 300 diners, with windows onto the garden. The kitchen is the house’s own, with its own bakery and pastry.

Dancing beneath the glass
The dance floor is in the same hall, under a large glass ceiling, with a bar and a screen. The finca offers a DJ for the whole night.

According to Bodas.net, the party can run until 04:00. Then the gardens are left alone, and dawn breaks over Castiello.
